CIFA launches new website designed to maximise user experience
Women’s Under 20 Team and Premier Leagues to drive
The Cayman Islands Football Association has launched a new website engineered to maximise the virtual experience of football fans in the Cayman Islands.
The new www.CAYMANFOOTBALL.COM is designed to provide up to date information on local teams, leagues, players, schedules and key officials involved in the national sport of the Cayman Islands.
The launch of the website coincides with Cayman’s hosting of the eight team CONCACAF Women Under 20 Championships January 9-19, 2014.
The website features content designed for the championship including profiles, schedules and the group designation. Each week, CIFA posts updated information on all its competitions including CIFA Premier League to the Grassroots development initiative.
General Secretary Bruce Blake urged clubs to participate in the content gathering and sharing process.
“The website is a medium of communicating and sharing information. I encourage our clubs to submit information to post on the website, so we can share our various perspectives of the sport. The ultimate goal of the website is to act as a one stop shop for all things football in the Cayman Islands, Blake said.
CIFA partners with confederation website CONCACAF.com to facilitate the posting of pertinent information to the website.
