The 2013/2014 track season begins with the staging of the Damion Rose Sprint and Distance Track Meet at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex on Saturday, 7 December starting at 9:00 a.m.

This meet is dedicated to the memory of Damion Rose, one of our fallen athletes who drowned off Public Beach on Sunday, 20 October 2013. Rose was a talented athlete who touched many lives in and out of the track and field arena.

The Cayman Islands Athletic Association invites all athletes, their parents and well-wishers to participate as a tribute to Damion Rose.

Events being contested are: Javelin, Long Jump, Discus, 3000m, 150m, 1000m, 600m, 1600m and 300m.

There will be no registration on race day.
