A creepy plastic hand
By Laura Vitto From Mashable
For many office workers, slouching over keyboards is a sad fact of life.
There’s a strange desk accessory for that.
This cushioned plastic hand, from Japanese retailer Thanko, is molded in the shape of a human hand and attached to a robot arm. It’s meant to encourage better posture and less slouching by positioning it under your chin, or supporting your back, or as an arm pillow.
It’s both comforting and creepy.
The arm is adjustable in height and the hand can be positioned where you need it most; it can also be clamped onto desks. It’s available online for ¥4,980, or about $40 — a holiday gift for the office sloucher (read: pretty much everyone) in your life.
