GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands – Premier Hon. Alden McLaughlin presents the Cayman Islands Crest to Mr. Peter Hayes, Director of the Overseas Territories and Commonwealth Office on Tuesday prior to the weekly Cabinet meeting. The presentation followed a Monday evening reception for Mr. Hayes hosted by the Premier at Grand Old House. The visit follows on from the Premier’s visit to London in February when he met with Mr. Hayes, and continues to focus on enhancing the relationship between the UK and Cayman and promoting shared agendas. While here, Mr. Hayes was also able to meet with local people and those in the business community and to see firsthand the improvements that have been made in the country since his last visit in 2012.
