Chalk one up for the good guys!

We found out American online retailer, Wayfair, was illegally selling merchandise made with Turkmenistan cotton, known to be produced using large scale state-sponsored forced labor. Together with our partners at the Cotton Campaign, we sent them a letter raising our concerns.

By powering the movement against modern slavery we can impact behavior without our community even making a noise! When this happens, it tells us that we are moving in the right direction – perpetrators and their facilitators know that what they’re doing is wrong and don’t need much persuading to do the right thing.
