About Cayman Big Game and Nacra Sevens

A new concept in delivering International fixtures, Cayman Big game 1 Cayman v Mexico and Cayman Big Game 2 Cayman v Bahamas and Cayman Big Game 3 Cayman v Bermuda were massive successes attracting over 2500 fans and over 500 corporate guests.
With the internationals being played at Truman Bodden the stage was set for huge days where vendors sold goods, food and drinks and local artists entertained the crowd late into the evening, the Rugby was pretty good to with Cayman winning both internationals on home soil. Big Game 4 is set for July 14 2014 when Cayman will host USA South and as always the plans for Big Game 4 will be bigger and better.
Steppingstones Nacra Sevens
The 2013 NACRA Sevens will feature 15 men’s teams and 11 women’s including representative teams from both the USA and Canada.
Men’s Teams: Cayman (hosts), USA, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, BVI, St Lucia, St Vincent & The Grenadines, Barbados, Guyana, T&T, Curacao Women’s Teams: Cayman (hosts), USA, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, St Lucia, Guyana, T&T, Curacao
The tournament, which is being held on November 9th and 10th at the Truman Bodden National Stadium in the Cayman Islands, also doubles as the qualifier for the 2014 CACSO Games in Veracruz, Mexico. The top 4 Men’s Caribbean teams at the NACRA Sevens will join hosts Mexico, while the top 3 Women’s teams plus Mexico, will compete in 2014. To add further incentive, the top Men’s Commonwealth team at the NACRA Sevens is likely to be invited to participate in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, along with Canada.
