About the future of mobility: HEY/MOBILITY HAMBURG from June 12 to 13 in Hamburg

Hamburg, June 4, 2024. Innovative – sustainable – urban: From June 12 to 13, the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg will once again focus on mobility. Whether on four wheels, two, public or private – HEY/MOBILITY HAMBURG brings mobility experts and industry influencers together in Hamburg, now for the fourth time. Over 70 speakers and panelists in over 60 sessions will examine the subject from all angles.

“With HEY/MOBILITY HAMBURG, we showcase the future of mobility and shed light on the entire mobility ecosystem and its interactions. The Mobility Festival is a platform for ideas, innovations, and inspiration. Leading figures in politics and business present and discuss solutions for the future of mobility and the mobility transition,” explains Hans H. Hamer, CEO of HEY MOBILITY.

The opening keynote will be given by Hamburg’s Minister of Transport Anjes Tjarks. The State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Digitalisation and Transport, Susanne Henckel, will also give a keynote on the future of mobility using the example of the model region Hamburg.

HEY/MOBILITY HAMBURG shows firsthand how metropolises can rethink and shape sustainable mobility. Companies such as MOIA, UBER, VW, Deutsche Post/DHL, Elaris, Otto Wulff Gruppe, Ramboll, and Transportsysteme Bögl will discuss “Impulses for the metropolises of the future”.

“Approaches towards a climate-neutral metropolis and sustainable mobility” will be presented by Airbus, Hamburg Airport, Arthur Bus, European Metall Recycling, Garo, and Renault Trucks.

The panel on “Innovative mobility concepts at major sporting events” features the editor-in-chief of the Hamburger Abendblatt as well as Eric Huwer, board member of HSV, and Tobias Vlcek, Institute for Transport and Logistics, University of Hamburg. The timing couldn’t be better – the European Championship is just around the corner.

Other key topics include:

  • DEKRA will present the latest insights from the 2024 Road Safety Report focusing on “The Cannabis Law and Road Safety”.
  • The latest research projects on innovative mobility projects will be presented by Kühne Logistics University, HAW, and the University of Hamburg.
  • HEY/PIONEER: On June 12, at 3 pm on the PIONEER Stage, the Start-up Competition will take place, where around 10 start-ups will present their ideas for the future of urban and sustainable mobility in an elevator pitch. New jury member is Austrian investor Christian Jäger, known from “2 minutes 2 million”, he will present the prize.
  • HEY/MICROMOBILITY: Numerous manufacturers will showcase the latest E-bikes, cargo bikes, innovative products for last-mile and urban logistics, and urban charging infrastructure solutions, and visitors will have the opportunity to test them on site for free.
  • HEY/WORLD: Patrick Kayemba from Uganda and Rumbi Ebbefeld, Africrooze, will present insights on E-mobility in Africa, supported by the NGO.
  • Test-Drive: VW, Elaris, Vinfast, Moia, and Renault Trucks will showcase their latest products, and visitors will have the opportunity to examine them closely and even take test drives.
