At approximately 7:35 PM on Thursday 10 May 2012 a Police Suzuki SUV driven by a female officer was traveling from Shedden Road towards Elgin Ave. The police vehicle collided with fencing at the junction of Elgin and Louise-Llewelyn Way and entered the uninhabited premises at #14  Louise-Llewelyn Way where it came to a stop.

The officer was injured and transported to the GTH by ambulance where she is being treated.

The police vehicle was damaged, as well as fencing and the uninhabited building.

The cause of the accident is unknown. The matter is being investigated.
