LONDON — So after starting the season with fairly grim 5000/1 odds, Leicester City are now the champions of the Premier League.

Leicester’s victory was sealed Monday night after Tottenham failed to beat Chelsea, meaning they can no longer get enough points to catch Leicester before the end of the season.

A lot of people were very happy.

Meanwhile, Adele — who supports Tottenham — probably wasn’t quite as happy. That didn’t stop her from sending an awesome tweet, though.

“Best. ******* Story. Ever.”

Adele’s tweet pretty much sums up the mood around Leicester winning the title — the whole thing is so damn unexpected and unlikely that even supporters of rival teams are happy for them.

The incredible, 5,000 to 1 odds of Leicester City winning the English Premier League is looking like it may actually happen.

After starting this season in last place, the team has had an amazing run and [the result] may be the biggest upset in sports history.

Honestly, nobody knows how this is happening, and the only explanation we can think of is that we all exist in a virtual universe, controlled by a young boy playing FIFA 2016 in a Best Buy.

Then again, maybe they just played really well this season. Who can know!
