According to Ammo.Com around one of the most misleading gun topics is Adolescents & Firearms. 

This is perhaps the most inflated crisis out there.

The primary reason for this is two-fold:

1. How “children” is defined is misleading. 

2. If you’re an urban teenager (not a child) who is in a street gang, the odds of you “catching a bullet” are much higher than average. Again, this causes overinflated data.
