Cayman Islands Agriculture & Craft Bazaar this Saturday at Town Market

The first “Cayman Christmas Bazaar” takes place at the Market at the Cricket Grounds – this Saturday, 10 December, 2016.

A celebration of all things local, from Cayman-style cooking to crafty Christmas gifts and music, the event will also shine a spotlight on the abundant fresh produce available from the farmers’ market.

Located in George Town, across from the Red Cross building, the popular new market venue is being highlighted as a show of appreciation for local farmers, artisans and patrons alike.
Beginning at 9a.m. with a visit by Santa, the day will include a bouncing castle, a raffle of Caymanite jewellery and prizes of gift baskets full of fresh produce, local fruit, sweet treats, desserts and refreshing smoothies.

Market vendors also look forward to a meet and greet session with local consumers.
For instance, at the “Crafts by Connie” booth, they share that, “This market is a great place to meet and greet friends and visitors, and show our products. Here, you may purchase locally-sewn hand-towels‎, kitchen-towels, aprons, throw pillows and more!”
