Situation Handled by DOI at ORIA

Please find below a statement from the Cayman Islands Department of Immigration in regards to a situation that occurred at the Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman.

“We refused entry to a passenger today [Tue Jan 31] who arrived on Jet Blue from New York.  The passenger did not meet landing requirements.  The passenger refused to board the flight to return home. The matter was not related to any new policies or travel bans enacted by the Trump Administration in the USA.”
