Al Pacino returns to HBO this Saturday, April 7th with the premiere of ‘PATERNO’
Al Pacino returns to HBO as the legendary college football coach in the new original film PATERNO, premiering Saturday, April 7th at 23hrs AST*.
Directed by Barry Levinson, the HBO Films’ production centers on Penn State University’s Joe Paterno in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. After becoming the “winningest” coach in college football history, Paterno’s legacy is challenged and he is forced to face questions of institutional failure in regard to the victims.
The film also stars Riley Keough, Kathy Baker, Greg Grunberg, Larry Mitchell and Annie Parisse.
