Ian Goddard is an Accredited Director with over seventeen years experience in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Cayman Islands corporate legislation and regulatory regime and has held director positions on boards of several Cayman Islands regulated entities and other Cayman registered structures.

Ian manages the day-to-day operation of our Cayman office with primary focus on business development and growth.

Ian spent almost seven years with Equity Trust/TMF group in the Cayman Islands where he held the position as Managing Director and was instrumental in establishing the local office and for the development and growth of all aspects of the business.

Prior to joining equity Trust/TMF Group, he worked with Close Brothers (Cayman) Limited for seven years where he managed a large number of private and public listed entities, which including trusts, partnerships, and companies.

Ian worked as an Assistant Registrar with the general Registry Department of the Cayman Islands Government for four years where he managed the registration process with the help of a team of administrators.

Ian was educated at Barry University in Miami, Florida, where he gained a degree in Business Administration. He is an accredited director with ICSA, an approved director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, and a Notary Public in and for the Cayman Islands.
