Anti-Corruption Commission Arrest

Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Commission have on 14th November 2024 arrested the following person:

Female aged 34 years, of West Bay, upon suspicion of the following offences:

1. Being concerned in an arrangement of the acquisition or retention of criminal property (money Laundering) contrary to section 134 Proceeds of Crime Act (2020 revision) and

2. The acquisition of criminal property (money laundering) contrary to section 135 Proceeds ofCrime Act (2020 revision)

The person has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

No further information will be released, at this time.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (“ACC”) was established by the Anti-Corruption Act (“the Act”) which came into effect on 1 January 2010 (and which has since been amended several times). The ACC is responsible for administering the Act.
