World Autism Awareness Day
In recognition of autism awareness, Camana Bay’s Town Centre will join iconic buildings, landmarks and communities around the globe and “Light It Up Blue” from Monday 30 March through Sunday 5 April. On World Autism Awareness Day, Thursday 2 April, the Special Needs Foundation of Cayman will be at The Observation Tower from 11am-2pm to offer information, education and support on Autism and special needs in the Cayman Islands. Week of the Young Child Pyjama Party
Children, parents, caregivers and volunteers are invited to join the Cayman Islands Early Childhood Association (ECA) to celebrate the Week of the Young Child with a fun, family-friendly pyjama party in Gardenia Court. The Week of the Young Child aims to focus public attention on the needs of children and their families, and recognise local community programmes and services that help meet those needs. Tessanne Chin Concert
Intec Productions in association with Epic Day Entertainment presents a musical showcase featuring headliner and winner of Season 5 of NBC’s reality TV singing competition The Voice, Tessanne Chin! Tickets for general entrance are CI$35 in advance and CI$40 at the door while VIP tickets are CI$75 in advance and CI$90 at the door. Tickets are available from: 3 Forty Five, Reflections, Liquor for Less, Funky Tangs and Singh’s Roti Shop. Part of the proceeds from the event go to the Get Active Challenge Program supported by the Cayman Heart Fund. Security will be on hand throughout the Town Centre and inside the venue. Concertgoers can park in the Town Centre’s multi-storey parking structures and surface lots, the limestone lot accessible via the Century 21 roundabout and the Arts & Recreation Centre lot next to Cayman International School.
