Two arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder

The men, aged 17 and 18 years,  have been arrested and are currently detained in police custody on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. The arrests are in connection with the murder of Robert Bush in West Bay on 13 September 2011.

The arrests took place during a large scale police operation in the West Bay on Thursday 23 February 2012. A number of houses were searched and a quantity of ammunition was seized.

In addition to the two arrests detailed above, a man was arrested for threatening violence and a woman for possession of Ganja.

Police enquiries are ongoing.
