Assault – drug arrest – Cayman Brac

On Friday, 22nd April 2016 just after 9:00 pm, a 40-year-old male (victim) an employee of a liquor license premises in Cayman Brac was physically assaulted on the premises by two male juveniles, aged 15 and 16 and two adult males aged 18 and 24. The victim sustained, but not life threatening, a head injury. The victim was transported to the Faith Hospital in a private vehicle, and the following day he was flown to Grand Cayman and admitted to the George Town Hospital. He was discharged from the Hospital the following Sunday, 24th April 2016, and he returned to Cayman Brac that same day.
The victim and the four accused are all residents of Cayman Brac.
On Saturday, 23rd April 2016 the two juveniles and the two adults were arrested by officers of the Cayman Brac Police Station. They are currently on police bail.
A 38-year-old male, a resident of Cayman Brac, was arrested in Cayman Brac today by Cayman Brac police officers for possession of ganja. He is currently on police bail.
