Randall Martin admitted to the Bar
Randall Martin, a Caymanian by descent, has been admitted to the Caymanian Bar Association to practice as an attorney in the Cayman Islands.
His application was presented to Justice Charles Quin by Bodden and Bodden where he was first hired as a legal intern in his first year of law school. He quickly showed potential and upon completion of his bachelor of law course, the firm sponsored Martin’s professional practice course and he earned an articles of clerkship position.
During the past seven years, Mr. Martin has trained directly beneath partners Sherri Bodden and Lynn M. Bodden, in corporate and commercial matters, immigration, labour, conveyancing, private client and matrimonial matters.
In September, Martin began working with Bodden & Bodden litigation under the supervision of David Dinner, where he has gained experience in complex personal injury cases, insolvency matters and estate disputes.
Martin obtained a background in economics and finance from Louisiana State University, when he enrolled in the bachelor of law course at the University of Liverpool through the Cayman Islands Law School in 2007.
Conveyancing is the legal term for the process of transferring ownership of a property between two parties.
