Automobili Lamborghini posts record−breaking numbers in the first nine months of 2024
The introduction of three new cars in just 18 months marked an extraordinary moment, crowned by the best result ever for the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based company
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 6 November 2024 – Automobili Lamborghini announces again record figures, closing the first nine months of 2024 with its best results ever in terms of deliveries, revenues and operating profit. A total of 8,411 cars were delivered (+8.6% over the same period in 2023), generating revenues of 2,434 million euros and an increase of 20.1% versus last year, and an operating profit of 678 million euros: an increase of 9.8% compared to 2023.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated: “The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini, marked by the introduction of three new cars in just 18 months and culminating in the significant milestone of fully hybridizing our range with the presentation of the Lamborghini Temerario. This is a crucial moment for the company, highlighting the importance and impact of the transformation we are experiencing.”
Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, commented: “The year’s first nine months’ results demonstrate the exceptional execution of our strategy. We have solidified an excellent level of profitability notwithstanding the challenging commercial environment. Our third-quarter results further boost expectations of another record year, once again confirming our position among the most profitable brands in the luxury segment.”
With a solid and continuously expanding order bank, all models manufactured by Automobili Lamborghini remain in high demand. The waiting time for Revuelto[1] alone exceeds two years, while for the Urus SE[2] launched last April, the order bank covers all of 2025 production. For the new Temerario[3], the star of the quarter, which was unveiled during Monterey Car Week, orders officially started arriving in September with a very positive response from the public.
The milestones achieved further strengthen the company’s position in the luxury automotive industry and lay a solid foundation for future growth and innovation strategies.
