In a letter to Investors from Cayman Islands-domiciled Axiom Legal Financing Fund they have announced they have retained KPMG to investigate red flags concerning the Fund that were uncovered by OffshoreAlert

Investors were informed of the development in a letter on Monday (15) from the Fund’s directors, Ronal Guilfoyle and Graham Hampson.

The announcements was made on Offshore Alert’s website on Tuesday (16).

HIGHLIGHTS

• “We’re taking the allegations seriously,” say directors
• Investment Manager has been asked for “detailed response to each allegation”
• KPMG due to report results of its review “before the end of this month”
