Businesses invited to take part in national consumer survey

TowerTower Marketing is gearing up for the latest edition of the Omnibus Survey, which is the only local market research tool that offers a nationally representative insight into the general public, exploring the essential factors that define the shape and direction of the Cayman Islands business landscape.

This survey is conducted via telephone, with over 500 randomly selected people interviewed, resulting in a relevant representation of the local population.

The survey has approximately 30 core questions focusing on demographics such as: age, gender, educational levels, employment, place of residence, basic income and household size. Other questions focus on information such as: preferred media outlets, internet access and spending habits, making the Omnibus survey an invaluable resource for fundamental market information.

Omnibus Flyer Summer 2013The results of these 30 questions will be available for purchase by anyone seeking insight into the Cayman Islands and its demographic profile. In addition to these core questions, businesses can purchase a question(s) to be added to the survey.  Only the purchasers of a question receive the confidential answer to their question. Tower will assist in developing these questions in order to provide the best feedback to the business. The Omnibus format allows clients access to large core data in addition to their specific client questions, at a lower cost.

At the conclusion of the survey, businesses are provided a customized report that cross references their specific question to the 30 core questions. This allows businesses to see results about their brand awareness, products, services, etc. based on the demographic information obtained.  Business owners can use their survey results to make decisions about where their marketing dollars should be allocated in order to reach the right target market, as well as which media outlets to best use to reach that audience.

“This survey has become a unique and valuable feature for marketing and investment decisions in the Cayman Islands,” says Tower Marketing Managing Director, Lynne Byles. “The Omnibus method of conducting research provides a very cost effective tool, allowing market research to be much more accessible to businesses who cannot fund an entire market research project on their own. This is our 11th year conducting the Omnibus survey, and we are looking forward to providing engaging results once again to our clients.”

Survey results are checked against official statistics, ensuring they reflect the general population, including nationality, work permits and other factors.  Tower Marketing is the only firm in Cayman that facilitates this globally recognized methodology.

Our next survey will be carried out in June 2013. Please contact Jenna Lucas for pricing and more information 623-6700 or [email protected]
