The trio of events includes:

Cayman Cookout: The Ultimate Dinner Party — Jan. 19, 2013

The night continues as David Kinch of the Michelin-starred Manresa will appear alongside Michael Schwartz at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink; Spike Mendelsohn of Top Chef fame and Sherry Yard of Spago join Cindy Hutson at Ortanique; and Gordon Ramsey protegee Dale MacKay teams with Ron Jacobson at Abacus.

Taste of Cayman Food & Wine Festival — Jan. 26, 2013

For its 25th anniversary, this beloved grassroots celebration of local culinary culture finds a new home at Camana Bay’s waterfront Festival Green. Celebrating both emerging trends and traditional island favorites, Taste of Cayman is one of the Caribbean’s largest food festivals attracting more than 5,000 residents and visitors. More than 30 restaurants showcase their signature offerings and drinks, competing for the fiercely coveted “Taster’s Choice” award.

Slow Food Day — Feb. 2, 2013

The culinary festivities wrap with a bang when Chef Michael Schwartz and special guest and fellow James Beard Award winner Hugh Acheson partner with Slow Food Grand Cayman and the Cayman Islands Agricultural Society to host the island’s second annual Slow Food Day. Camana Bay chefs have built enduring relationships with Cayman’s farmers and fisherman, and their commitment to sustainable dining is showcased by sourcing ingredients from Camana Bay’s weekly farmer’s market and frequent farm-to-table dinners at Michael’s Genuine. Guests will enjoy complimentary sample tastings throughout the day, followed by a welcome cocktail and hors d’oeuvres, and ending with a special dinner and wine pairing.
