Campbells announces six new partners in Cayman and Hong Kong
Leading offshore law firm Campbells is pleased to announce the appointment of six partners in its Cayman Islands and Hong Kong offices.
Marianne Rajic will join Campbells’ Hong Kong office as a partner later this month. Marianne was previously a partner with Walkers in the British Virgin Islands and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm’s Investment Funds and Corporate & Finance Group. “We are delighted to welcome someone of Marianne’s calibre to our new Hong Kong office, and this key hire serves to demonstrate our commitment to growth and development in the Asian market” commented Ross McDonough, Senior Partner and Managing Partner, Hong Kong. Rhonda Laws, who worked with Campbells in the Cayman Islands for over seven years, will also be joining the group as Counsel.
In addition Campbells has promoted five lawyers to partner in its Cayman Islands office: Andrew Pullinger in the Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring Group; Richard Spencer, Mark Adams and Simon Thomas in the Investment Funds and Corporate & Finance Group; and Lily Lee in the Property & Local Practice Group.

About the Partners:
Marianne Rajic specialises in the structuring of investment funds, alternative investment products and advice on corporate and finance transactions. Prior to joining Campbells, Marianne was a partner with Walkers in the British Virgin Islands and prior to which she worked at SJ Berwin LLP (now KWN) in London. Marianne’s start date is subject to the requisite approvals being obtained.
Andrew Pullinger specialises in commercial litigation, international arbitration and dispute resolution. Andrew previously practised with DLA Piper in Australia and London.
Richard Spencer specialises in Cayman and BVI investment funds, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital markets and corporate finance. Prior to joining Campbells, Richard practised with Ashurst in London and Ogier in the British Virgin Islands and Jersey.
Mark Adams has extensive experience in a broad range of banking, finance and corporate sectors. He has previously practised with Clifford Chance in Singapore and Norton Rose in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Bahrain.
Simon Thomas specialises in the establishment of private equity and venture capital funds and related investment vehicles. Prior to joining Campbells, Simon practised with Mourant Ozannes in the Cayman Islands and Proskauer Rose LLP, and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in London.
Lily Lee specialises in property, estate and private client matters. Prior to practising in the Cayman Islands she was a lecturer at the Cayman Islands Law School.
