CARIBBEAN AIRLINES WELCOMES PROGRESS IN PILOTS’ PAY NEGOTIATIONS
Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, October 31, 2024 – Caribbean Airlines welcomes the announcement from the Honourable Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert MP, that he has authorized the offer to the Trinidad and Tobago Airline Pilots Association (TTALPA) recommended by Caribbean Airlines to settle ongoing salary negotiations.
As per the statement from the Minister issued on October 30th, 2024, the offer comprises a 4% increase in salaries to cover the period September 2015 to August 2020. In addition, there is the offer of a further 4% increase in salaries to cover the period September 2020 to August 2023.
Caribbean Airlines remains optimistic that a satisfactory conclusion can be reached in this dispute and all parties can direct their full focus to the continued success and growth of the airline.
