Foodies who love Caribbean cuisine may want to take in Caribbean305, an annual festival that features chefs and mixologists from the region.
Caribbean305 will take place Saturday, June 23, at Jungle Island in Miami.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Jungle Island where this year’s event will feature top culinary talent from 16 island nations,” emails Matt Cooper, chief marketing officer of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, which produces the event.
The 16 culinary teams serving up Caribbean food and drinks are from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bonaire, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Cooper says attendees can, “Enjoy the diversity, beauty and culture of the Caribbean without getting a stamp on your passport. Dance to our music, eat the best of food, have a delicious cocktail (or two). In short, have the time of your life and soak in the warmth, beauty and jovial nature of the Caribbean.”
Caribbean305 will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. June 23 at the Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, in Miami. Tickets cost $95 for general admission, $125 for VIP. To order, go to Caribbean305.com.
