CAYMAN ISLANDS — Auto Spa owner Joey Ebanks is concerned about the image mobile carwashes are having on parking lots. He says although it is convenient it looks bad when tourists see this type of behavior.

“There is no city in North America that you can find cars being washed in a public parking lot, government offices, banks, the corporate George Town and we have smart people on this island and I know that they’re not thinking about what I’m concerned about the environment and the image,” said Ebanks in the Cayman 27 story.

Mobile carwash employee Desmond Cornwall disputes Ebanks’ concerns saying clean cars are “a good thing” for tourists to see, rather than dirty cars.
