CAYFEST Culminates With Red Sky At Night

The Cayman National Cultural Foundation’s (CNCF) 20 days of music, poetry, film, workshops, visual arts, storytelling and dance in March culminates this weekend with Red Sky At Night (RSAN), CAYFEST 2025’s signature event. The multi-disciplinary arts fair takes place on Saturday, 22 March from 4pm to 11pm on the grounds of the F.J. Harquail Cultural Centre and is the annual anchor event for CAYFEST.
Red Sky attendees will experience Cayman’s finest showcase of local talent, with an emphasis on local arts and culture, and a dynamic mix of visual arts, music and theatre. The event will feature dual sound stages – one within the Harquail Theatre and another set against the starlit backdrop of The Square. Headlining the event this year is guardians of Caymanian culture, Swanky Kitchen Band who will electrify the stage as they celebrate Cayman’s rich cultural heritage and the always energetic Heat.
Over 50 local artists and artisans will line the Thatch Walks, offering creations ranging from intricate jewellery pieces, bespoke fashion, paintings, photography and sculptures to artisanal sauces, jams and jellies, juices and soaps and books, plants and novelties. Café Cayman will tempt the most discerning of palates with a delectable array of local culinary delights. For families, the Visual Arts Society’s Creative Kids area will spark the imaginations of young minds while the Caymanian Village will invite visitors to step back in time, experiencing heritage demonstrations and interactive cultural displays that evoke the islands’ storied past.
