Cayman: 2 arrested for Assault GBH following a stabbing on West Bay Road,

Further to the below incident, an 18-year-old-man of West Bay was charged with Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Common Assault and Causing Fear or Provocation of Violence. A second man, age 19 of George Town, was charged with Wounding with Intent and Possession of an Offensive Weapon.
Both men will be appearing in summary court today, Monday, 16 March.

Just after 12:15AM this morning, Saturday 14 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Center to an incident at the Strand Plaza, located on West Bay Road.
It was reported that a man was stabbed at the location. The injured man was transported to the hospital where he was being treated for what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening-injuries.
Two men, both age 18 and 19 respectively, were arrested in relation to the incident and are currently in custody pending further investigation by the police.
