OBJECTS AND REASONS

It is necessary to enact in respect of each financial year an Appropriation Act giving Cabinet the authority to incur executive expenses, acquire executive assets, make equity investments or loans and undertake borrowing necessary for all services of the Government in that year in the manner directed by Parliament.

This Bill is for Supplementary Appropriations for the 12-month financial year ended 31 December 2022 and seeks approval for changes to expenditure under the several heads of expenditure set out in the Schedule, and charges the expenditure on the revenue and funds of the Islands.
