Cayman: ACC charges three
On 18 December 2019 Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Commission charged:
Manderson, Mark Anthony (a former public officer aged 38 years from the George Town area) with:
- One count of Fraud by a Public Officer, contrary to s.118 of the Penal Code (2013 Revision); and
- One Count of Breach of Trust contrary to s.13 of the Anti-Corruption Law (2016 Revision).
- Williams, Jeremy Alexis (a public officer aged 35 years from the George Town area) with:
- One count of Being Concerned in an Arrangement (money laundering), contrary to s.134(1) of the Proceeds of Crime Law (2014 Revision).
- McNeil, Shevon Roandrew (aged 32 years from the George Town area) with:
- One count of Being Concerned in an Arrangement (money laundering), contrary to s.134(1) of the Proceeds of Crime Law (2014 Revision).
All persons have been bailed to appear in Summary Court on 28th January 2020.
As the matter is now before the Courts, the Commission will not provide any further comment on the matter.
