Event to Provide Global Leaders With Forum to Shape, Guide and Sustain Vibrant Alternatives Industry

GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS – Jan. 22, 2015 – The Cayman Alternative Investment Summit, an internationally recognised event bringing together the world’s leading institutional investors, today announced that Academy Award-winning actor Al Pacino will serve as the new keynote speaker for the second annual summit. Al Pacino replaces Arnold Schwarzenegger, due to scheduling conflicts.

The summit, titled “A New Vision for a New Age,” will highlight the core areas of change in alternatives and chart the progress over the rest of the decade. The summit is expected to attract more than 500 executives from prominent pension plans, endowments, family offices, hedge funds and more.

Pacino, one of cinema’s true legends, will offer the audience a glimpse into his storied career, sharing his insights into the art of acting and some of his favorite anecdotes.

Keynote addresses will also include: Sir Richard Branson, Founder, Virgin Group; Nouriel Roubini of Roubini Global Economics; John Maudlin, the New York Times best-selling author; and Brad Katsuyama, President, CEO and Co-Founder, IEX Group Inc.

The summit will feature workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Summit topics will address three critical areas including improving client expectations and deliverables, enhancing investment capabilities and promoting a better alignment of interests.
