Cayman: Applications sought for Island Heritage’s CharityDrive
Grand Cayman, 10 March 2021- Island Heritage Insurance Company, Ltd. is pleased to announce that the popular CharityDrive is back after being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Applications are now being accepted for the charitable event which is set for the 4th, 5th and 6th of May. Island Heritage will donate up to CI $10,000 each to three local charities. One of the charities selected will also have the opportunity to earn up to an additional CI $5,000 based on social media support.
These amounts are made up of Island Heritage donating $1 for every car that drives past the Island Heritage Roundabout and for facebook, twitter and Instagram support for the selected charity.
Island Heritage’s CharityDrive has donated more than CI$265,000 to 21 different local charities. The charities selected will each have a dedicated day to encourage the community to drive past the Island Heritage Roundabout (located on the Esterley Tibbetts bypass) or show support on social media.
Applications from local charities who applied last year will still be considered. The deadline for new applications is Wednesday, 24 March 2021.
