Cayman: Begin your journey into the bible as CTLT begins a new year
Do you feel you have God’s calling to be trained for the ministry, or just to discover more about his word? The Centre for Theological Leadership and Training (CTLT) is the only non-denominational theological education provider in the Cayman Islands, providing Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors and Masters programmes. It is designed to be accessible to all, so that anyone can begin, regardless of formal qualifications. CTLT is intended to provide a sound foundation of bible-based knowledge to prepare people for ministry, and so fulfil the command to, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” You don’t have to be a full-time pastor or minister. Even if you teach a Sunday school, or Sabbath School you will benefit and be enriched, and so will your work with children, young people or others needing help in our churches, schools and communities.
CTLT provides study of Biblical and related subjects at convent time (weekend and evening classes) and from the convenience of your home via zoom. Topics offered Introduction to Old Testament, New. Testament, church history, gospels, Paul’s letters, general letters. You can start at certificate level with no entry requirements. With the certificate you can move up to diploma and other levels including B. A. and M. A. In theology.
Each course is accredited and is affordable, and offered with a payment plan. Valedictorian of the Bachelors class, Janet Durant said. “We must give thanks to God for bringing us through this last year and for the great lecturers he has sent to prepare us.”
