Cayman: Botanic Park to host Easter Art Camp

(North Side, Grand Cayman – Friday 5th March) The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park in collaboration with Joseph Betty ART and Jernat Transportation, is pleased to announce they will be partnering to host a fundraising Easter Art Camp. Funds raised from the camp will benefit the continued development of the attractions Children’s Garden.

Children interested in art that will highlight local and international botany can attend the camp on April 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th allowing for families to engage over the religious holidays but offering the camp to children while on school break.

“Children ages six to 12 years old are welcome to attend, and toddlers to 5-year-olds are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian,” said Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park General Manager, John Lawrus.

The Easter Art Camp will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and will cost CI$50 per child, per workshop.

Transportation will be provided daily with free with pick up points located at the George Town Library at 8:00 am; the lot at Royal Bank of Canada in Red Bay at 8:30 am and from the Bodden Town Public Beach at 8:50 am.

“Parents are asked to note spaces are limited with a minimum of eight children required for workshops to take place. We are also limiting the classes to a maximum of 12 children per workshop to ensure a fun day of learning for all,” added Mr. Lawrus.
