Cayman Brac PSPB Pensioners’ Appreciation Event Programme confirmed
The Public Service Pensions Board (PSPB) has finalised the programme for its Pensioners’ Appreciation event at the Aston Rutty Centre on Monday, 24 April 2017.
The Cayman Brac celebration, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., is being held in partnership with the island’s Ministry of District Administration to mark the fund’s 25th anniversary.
Organisers are hoping to match the success of a similar event held for PSPB retiree members at Pedro St. James two weeks ago, which attracted around 400 attendees.
According to the event’s social committee, speeches will be given by the Deputy Governor Franz Manderson and the Minister for District Administration, Tourism and Transport, Hon. Moses Kirkconnell with a vote of thanks from the PSPB’s managing director Jewel Evans Lindsey.
Emcee’d by Deputy District Commissioner Mark Tibbetts, entertainment will be provided by Brac students as well as music by Brac Fire featuring Peter Dixon and Norman Carter.
Food and beverages will be supplied by local chefs with homemade heavy cakes from local residents.
As well as free health screening and advice booths manned by the Health Services Authority and by the PSPB, attendees can look forward to plenty of spot prizes and give-aways.
