Cayman: Cabinet Post Meeting Summary – 25 Oct 2022
His Excellency the Governor Mr. Martyn Roper, OBE, chaired the meeting of the Cabinet held on Tuesday, 25th October 2022 in the Cabinet Conference Room, Government Administration Building.
Mr Dwayne Seymour, acted as Temporary Minister for Tourism and Transport and Mr Isaac Rankine, acted as Temporary Minister for Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure. All other Ministers and Members of Cabinet were present.
At this meeting Cabinet:
- Approved the National Conservation (Alien Species) Regulations, 2022;
- Approved in accordance with section 159 of the Companies Act (2022 Revision) for the followingcompanies to make application to the Grand Court for restoration to the Cayman Islands Registerof Companies; Smile Development Group Limited and Ariel Holdings Ltd.;
- Approved the purchase of Block 72C Parcel 432;
- Advised that approval be given for easement over Crown Land Block 97B Parcel 121;
- Approved the applications for appointment as Notaries Public for the following persons – CharlotteAckerley; Delia Bunce; Jeniffer Cowdroy; Helen Haddleton; Paulette McField; Nadine Myers-Jones; Jhaklin Rivero Cano; Ashley Smith-Phipps; Kimberly Sheehan; and Serena Thomas;
- Was informed by the Hon Deputy Governor that the Civil Service Engagement Survey hadlaunched on Monday, 24th October 2022; and
- Was provided with an update from the Cabinet Secretary regarding the comprehensive CaymanIslands Seafarer’s list that was being released and the Hon Premier also provided an update in relation to plans for the Seafarers Park.Published by the Cabinet Office on Friday, 4th November 2022.Guidance Notes:
