Cayman: Career Pathways presentation to prison inmates
A presentation will be made on Wednesday, 31 July from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. pertaining to career information session for inmates and there will also be a panel discussion.
The presenters are Stephen Atherley, Acting Deputy Director for Rehabilitation and Alfred McLeod, Correctional Counsellor.
The venue will be at the Northward Prison Chapel.
The press have been invited to attend.

It has been generally accepted that:
“A career pathway is a combination of education and training.
“This is organized in a series of manageable steps leading to employment opportunities in growing occupations.
“GOAL: Encourage re-entrants and staff to think of education and work experience received while incarcerated as beneficial to gaining employment at release.
GOAL: Ensure inmates are “job ready” at any step of incarceration.”
