Election Office Christmas Season Closures

The Elections Office has issued its closures for this Christmas Season:

Closing at 12 pm on Friday, 16 December 2022;

Closed Friday, 23 December; and

Closing at 12 pm on Friday, 30 December.

The Supervisor of Elections and the staff wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

DVDL’s Opening Hours to 2023

Grand Cayman – The Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) wishes to advise the public of its opening hours to 2023.

All DVDL offices will also be closed on Friday, December 16 to facilitate a staff function.

CI Postal Service Christmas Hours

Grand Cayman, 9 December 2022 – The Cayman Islands Postal Service has announced the holiday hours for post offices across the Cayman Islands.

Extended opening hours of 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. will be offered at the Airport Post Office from Monday, 12 December through Thursday, 22 December. On Friday, 23 December the Airport Post Office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All other post offices across the Cayman Islands will keep their normal opening hours, except on Friday, 23 December when they will be closing at 12:30 p.m.

According to their regular schedules, the Airport Post Office opens from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the General and Seven Mile Beach post offices open from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and all other post offices open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All post offices across the Cayman Islands will be closed on Monday, 26 December and Tuesday, 27 December in observance of Christmas Day and Boxing Day, respectively. They will open at regular hours on Wednesday, 28 December. 

All post offices across the Cayman Islands will be closed on Friday, 30 December for a staff function, and will reopen at regular hours on Tuesday, 3 January 2023. They will be closed on Monday, 2 January 2023 in observance of New Year’s Day.

MYSCH Christmas Office Closures

The Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture & Heritage will be closing its offices during the holiday season:

● Monday, 12 December – from 12 pm to facilitate a staff function

● Friday, 23 December – half day from 12.30 pm (Christmas Eve) 

● Friday, 30 December – half day from 12.30 pm (New Year’s Eve)
