Cayman: CIMA head celebrates 25 year milestone
From Captive International
Cindy Scotland, managing director at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), is celebrating 25 years of service with the organisation, it has announced.
Scotland joined the organisation as head of currency operations in 1997, having joined its predecessor, the Cayman Islands Currency Board, upon graduating with a degree in economics from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1991.
She also serves on the Cayman Islands Government Education Council, Cayman Islands Stock Exchange Authority and the Anti-Money Laundering Steering Group.
I am extremely proud to be part of an organisation that has been, and still is, the key to the integrity and success of the Cayman Islands’ financial services industry,” she said. “At CIMA, we are a team of hardworking, resilient, and dedicated professionals, providing exceptional service to the financial community both domestically and internationally.
“Some of the things I enjoy most about my job is the family-oriented culture, the diversity of the work, and the fact that every day I learn something new. No two days are the same!”
