Cayman: COVID-19 Testing Update 28 September 2020 – ONE NEW Positive
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 293 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 25 September. One test was positive.
The individual is a returning traveller who tested positive as part of routine screening on completion of the mandatory quarantine period and is asymptomatic. They will remain in isolation until they have completed the necessary additional period of isolation.
The total number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes as required by the Medical Officer of Health, will be provided shortly.
