Chief Medical Officer Dr John Lee reports that as of 8a.m. Friday, 24 September, there have been 404 PCR tests since the last report on Thursday morning.  Of these, there is one new positive test in a traveller.

There have been 105,903 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. 54,890 (77% of an estimated population of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Meanwhile 51,004 (72% of the estimated population) have completed the two-dose course and nine (0%) have had a third or booster dose.  

 There have been no changes to the statistics released earlier today.
