Grand Cayman, 6 April 2022 – Public Health has issued the COVID-19 Situational Report for Epidemiological, or Epi., Week 13 (27 March – 2 April 2022) tonight, Wednesday 6 April. During Epi. Week 13, there were a total of 288 new cases of COVID-19 reported by Public Health. This was 22 cases more than were reported in the previous Epi. Week (13 – 19 March).

Officials noted that 1,436 tests were conducted in Epi. Week 13, compared to 1,179 tests in Epi. Week 12 and 1,253 tests in Epi. Week 11.

During Epi. Week 13, there were seven inpatients admitted to hospital. Of these, 33 percent were vaccinated.
