Grand Cayman, 7 February, 2023– The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) advises the public that its main office at CIEC and the George Town Landfill will close during the morning of Thursday, February 9, 2023 to facilitate a staff meeting. Garbage collection schedule for this day will not be affected.

Any disposal of large amounts of waste on this day should be done before 8:00 am; the 24 hour drop-off area will remain open to facilitate the disposal of small residential loads. 

The DEH office and the George Town landfill and will re-open for normal business on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1pm.

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your understanding.

The Department of Vehicle and Drivers’ Licensing (DVDL) wishes to advise the public that all its offices will be closed on Thursday, February 9, 2023, to facilitate a staff meeting and training workshop. 

All offices of DVDL will resume business as usual on Friday, February 10.
Customers are reminded that they can renew their vehicle and drivers’ licences online via DVDL’s website at www.dvdl.gov.ky
