Cayman dispute resolution lawyers recognised as leaders in their field in Legal Week’s ‘Private Client Global Elite’ and ‘Ones to Watch’ lists
The Private Client Global Elite is an independent directory listing 200 leading practitioners in the trusts and private client world. Inclusion on the list is determined by the number of nominations an individual receives from peers, the depth and breadth of their experience and the number and quality of international nominations outside of the entrant’s home jurisdiction, among other criteria.
Clients describe Partner Rachael Reynolds, who is head of dispute resolution in Cayman, as “a real powerhouse…intellectually first class…with a highly developed commercial instinct”. She has particular expertise in contentious trust matters, fund disputes and restructuring and insolvency. Rachael also appears in the Citywealth Leaders List 2017.
Legal Week’s Ones to Watch list identifies up and coming talent in the private client world. Edwin Gomez, who is based in Hong Kong, is an Attorney at Law of the Cayman Islands, with a broad practice covering contentious trust matters, restructuring and insolvency and general commercial litigation.
Simon Davies, partner and global head of dispute resolution at Ogier, said: “I’m pleased to see Rachael and Edwin’s inclusion in the Private Client Global Elite and Ones to Watch lists. The breadth of their experience demonstrates the comprehensive nature of our private client offering, alongside Ogier’s excellence in the dispute resolution space.”
The book will be released at a gala dinner this October in London.
