Cayman Drama Society: AUDITIONS – ACTORS NEEDED!
ACTORS WANTED!
Firstly, we urgently need an actor to play Louis in the upcoming production of The Ancestors.
We are looking for a Caribbean male.
The role is that of a prisoner who fantasizes about when he was free and reminisces about “before” and takes the audience on a journey by telling a fable.
Rehearsals are Tue/Thu/some weekends. Performances are May 15 – May 29 (Thu/Fri/Sat *no Sat on final weekend)
WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR ALL ROLES FOR The Princess and the Pea, which will audition next Fri eve (11th April) and perform Sept 20th-Oct 5th on various dates (tbc).
Narrator- any age
Prince- from 20-25 y o
Princess 20-25 y o
Queen- from 30 and up
King – from 30 and up
All characters- any ethnicity
LOOKING FOR: DIRECTORS!
We are currently also looking to fill our Christmas slot this year. This could be a pantomime, or a festive classic, or a family-friendly show devised by a new creator. If you would like to steer the ship and have an idea for a Christmas show this year (and the availability to rehearse and run the show) WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
