Mild-mannered Henry A. Perkins is just an ordinary businessman. When he accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase he finds it to be full of money! He decides it must be illicit and that he will just keep it. But, the prior owner might have other ideas! He rushes home to book one way fares to Barcelona, telling his confused wife to just abandon everything -; if she doesn’t like Barcelona, they can go to Bali or even buy it! Then panic sets in. The doorbell rings and it is not their taxi but instead a police detective who thinks Henry was soliciting in the men’s room of the local pub – in fact, he was sitting in the loo counting the cash. The bell rings again – not the taxi – but another detective who thinks Henry is dead – his briefcase was found floating next to a corpse in the Thames. Henry is now out of his depth as he ineptly attempts to extricate himself as his situation leads to increasingly hysterical situations…
