Cayman Election nominees reminded to register their interests
The Registrar of Interests reminds all nominees contesting the 22 May General Election that they have to declare their Register of Interests on the official form.
All nominees are required by the Register of Interests Law (1996) to fill, sign and submit the printed Financial Interests Registration Form to the Registrar at the Legislative Assembly Office. The nominees have to declare all pecuniary interests they hold including directorships, remunerated employment, shareholdings and land ownership.
For full details about the law as well as to print copies of the registration form, visit http://www.legislativeassembly.ky/portal/page?_pageid=4242,1&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL
Printed forms can also be collected from the LA office desk between 8.30 am to 5 pm. Sale of the law in hard copy is available from 9 am to 3 pm, according to the LA office.
