Cayman: Fatal collision in George Town
UPDATE: MAY 25 – Police Identify Victim in Fatal Collision
Police can now confirm the identity of the victim in the fatal collision which occurred early Sunday morning, 23 May. She is 32-year-old Kiarah Shikale Perkins, a US National who resided in Grand Cayman.

Shortly after 1:00AM today, Sunday, 23 May, officers responded to a serious two-vehicle collision on South Church Street, in the vicinity of Palm Springs, involving a Changan CS75 and a Honda Fit. The five occupants of the vehicles were injured in the collision. Emergency services attended the scene and all five persons were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital.
The driver of the Honda Fit, a woman age 32, was subsequently pronounced dead. The driver of the Changan, a man age 25 of George Town, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in hospital as investigations continue. The other three occupants of the vehicles also remain in hospital.
