Social media was alive last night Sep 26 immediately after 6pm, when smoke was seen erupting from the Liola Hall, part of the St Ignatius Church Complex.

The RCIPS confirmed that eight persons were removed from the Hall but there were no injuries.

Fire services were on hand to put out the blaze that seemed to be limited to the roof

We have no official information to report as to the cause of the fire but will notify our readers as soon as we receive it.

We have been informed there will be no school for the students of St. Ignatius today (27). However, parents of the children should check with the School.
